We’re excited to take this creative journey with you, so here’s what you can expect when working with red point.

  • To begin your project with us, fill out the form on our contact page (click “Request a Quote” below!), and one of our producers will contact you within 24 hours.

  • We will schedule an introductory meeting with you and your team to discuss your project idea. We will discuss the project details from the contact form you filled out. From there, our team will determine what medium is best suited for your project (such as 3D animation versus 2D animation), the best messaging to reach your target audience, how we will achieve your goals for the project, and discuss what your budget range is.

    Our goal for this meeting is to equip ourselves with as much information as we can to best support you and achieve your intended results. Getting this information in the beginning helps us create the most accurate proposal and saves you time!

  • After our project overview meeting, the producer will consult with our animation and creative team about the project to create a timeline and budget based on the scope. The producer will then create a proposal document and send you the document to review.

    Once the proposal is signed, we can officially begin the project!

Beginning a new project is one of our favorite parts of our job! Once we have a signed proposal and the initial deposit has been paid, we are ready to begin your project!

While every project is customized based on your marketing and creative goals, we have two distinct phases for every animation and video project that comes across our desks: pre-production and (our personal favorite, of course) post-production!

  • Pre-production is the first step of every project that we do. It’s the essential planning phase where every detail is addressed and ironed out in an initial kickoff meeting to have a successful project. This can include creating a schedule, script development and writing, storyboards, and finalizing your creative.

    If you have some familiarity with the film industry, you may have heard the saying, “fix it in post.” Well at red point, we prefer to “fix it in pre,” that way there’s a smooth streamline of work throughout the project, and the creative process can be what it’s meant to be: fun!

  • The final phase of our process is post production, which is where your project receives the final polish before delivery. However, for animation-exclusive projects, the post production phase is where the production magic happens! This can include 3D animation, 2D animation, motion graphics, VFX, color correction, sound design, and editing.

    If your project is an animated or motion graphics piece, we will take the project’s storyboards, script, and any digital assets available to begin. Depending on the project timeline and deadlines, we will show you the project’s progress throughout the animation progress for your team to review and provide feedback.

    On the other side of post production, if you have footage and need support giving it that final polish, our team is equipped to handle the editing, color correction, sound design, and digital delivery. We begin this process by taking your to create a rough cut, allowing you to watch your story unfold in a way you always imagined! We will work with you to get the video or film to the finish line.

Once the project has been approved, we will provide you with all the agreed-upon deliverables and cheer you on as you execute the piece!
